or just the shitty ones follow up question: what if you like your manager but their father is the owner. inherently dislike?
It just tickles my peach because most ppl probably realize the job is bullshit. It's only $14/hr and we only get 8min a day to go to the bathroom for a 8hr shift. I mean they treat us like toddlers, it's really a terrible job. Atp I'm just don't believe in putting in all my effort to a job that only wants to give me the bare minimum, actually even less than that.
how do I get out the rat race?
Ive just got on the property ladder this year, as in previous years, I've built up my CV so I can earn the salary that I have now (in previous salaries, I wasn't able to get my own place, because mortgage). But now I have my place, I now want to work on not having to work in order to pay off my mortgage and live my life, spending the precious moments I have left with my elderly parents. My current plan is to release equity after a few years and turn the property into a rental, find another place to live in and basically rinse and repeat that until I have at least my current salary, net, coming in. I enjoy DIY and property renovation, helping my extended family out with huge jobs. I hate my daytime work, and don't want to work for anyone else but myself… Well…
End the 40 hour work week.
Cut it to 20 hrs Double the pay Double the workforce Double the prices of services If you really want to work 40 hrs, go get a 2nd job Can someone explain what's wrong with setting up the economy to work like this?
Hi everyone. I am a bit drunk as i wrote this so please forgive me if my english is not perfect, thank you. So I heard this story from my ex-colleagues during a gathering party after we resigned from this company. Now, our ex-workplace was really shit. We were a university but we actually did a lot of marketing and business planning, and we were not focusing on teaching and learning. A lot of us have left the workplace, including myself. After I left, my ex-colleague from the same department suffered a lot of work overload. He was a very nice person and I felt bad for dumping all my work load onto his work load after i resigned. But i had no choice but to resign with a 24-hour notice because i was suffering from severe mental health issues.. He was a married young man with 2 small children…
double smile for you !!!!
If you go on LinkedIn, it keeps trying to show you articles about the layoffs, and they have a layoffs tracker now where they show which companies are laying people off, restructuring, etc. But it's funny because a lot of these companies that are doing layoffs and the executives who are claiming that they are struggling currently, they have record-breaking profits every single quarter including this one. How come they have record profits and revenues, but they can't keep people? That's funny
