My notes on benefits and drawbacks (I’m not going to spend too much time on this)
Multiculturalism:
– in modern America we have a pluralistic culture
– some cultures around the world don’t want other cultures to change theirs, such as native tribes
– if one wants to be a part of a new culture they probably need to learn about it and be respectful
Public schools:
– there could be various programs and formats to choose from
– the schools could have more funding, resources
– understanding the goals and requests of teachers is important
Big government:
– sometimes it is beneficial, sometimes it’s not
– sometimes large governments do awful things to people, but they can also support earth friendly protections and provide healthcare
– could be useful for providing more services, resources that voters find useful
