Just what it says. I won't say what I do, but I'm often the first to notice when someone is dying. I'm the reason they get help when no one is around. I don't even live in an expensive city, but I would be lucky to live paycheck to paycheck on what I make.
It's fucking cruel. Knowing what life could be like, knowing what I deserve, and that I'd be called entitled to request it, just pisses me off.
Not to mention that I make a massive sacrifice to my health because of the nature of the job.
You shouldn't need to have any specific type of job to make a living wage. You shouldn't even need to work. It should be basic to everyone. But I'm just not compensated for the risks involved, let alone compensated enough to live on my own.
Just ranting.
