Perhaps there are more insane things, but it’s completely ridiculous that you generally can’t tip on a gift card at a restaurant.

Restaurants claim they want to help employees, but so often I see the inability to tip on a gift card, which is probably the time a person would be most generous with their tipping. Instead, the person is forced to tip extra.
