I started working for a tech company as a mid level project manager several months ago. I'm doing my tasks, left and right, and accomplishing them wonderfully with milestones, such as extending the clients subscription with the company and writing multiple successful contracts. However, my functional manager is the opposite of the word functional. He/she/it doesn't do its job, delaying everything, to the point that I have a growing 10-item list that I follow up everyday. Why I asked for a meeting, it raised its voice, pretending to know everything, in fact it doesn't know anything at all. I've already talked to HR with plenty of screenshots of our conversations. It's an ongoing process, but I found out my regularization will be based on its report by around 80%. I doubt I'll be regularized. Right now, I'm looking for a new work and resign before May (regularization report).
