Hi everyone I need some advice. I just started a new job today and I already feel uncomfortable about it. To begin with, today was my first day and I haven’t been asked for my SSN or ID or any documents. I haven’t been asked if I am interested in direct deposit, my bank info or to confirm my address. There is only one other person in the department and she mentioned wanting to leave several times and that it was very hectic in the past. She has the same position I do, but has been asked to take lots of additional responsibilities. Where I live minimum wage is $15 and the job is paying $17 but it looks like a lot of responsibilities. Am I being paranoid and should I just stay and work? Or should I jump ship now?
