Post-Pandemic Return-To-Office

Sorry if wrong sub for this! Just received an email from my company about a new return-to-office plan. I joined the company within the last few months and the understanding was that we’d be in the office once per week. The email is saying that the expectation will now be 3 times per week, starting in less than a month. With my current home situation, it is tough for me to even go in once per week, but I’ve been managing. Three times will be too much for me. Anyone else have experience with a similar situation, in terms of handling a discussion with your superiors about not adhering to new return-to-office expectations? Any success stories or tips? I am really enjoying my job, the company as a whole (with this exception), and the people I work with, and am not looking to change jobs.
