Posting from my work that gave me no option but to work 11.5 hours every day this week

Yup, just like the title. I'm working on a call center in Colombia that takes calls from the USA. And this days there is such a high volume of calls that they made us work 1.5 hours mandatory of OT because they could not make us work more since it would be illegal. They are paying it 200% but still, we are all burned out and is the first day of what will be 2 weeks of this, 2 weeks of 11 hours taking calls with no more than 7 seconds between calls. And me working 11.5 bc I chose to take only half an hour of lunch to go home early Worst thing is that for us that know English this is the best paid work that we can find and the company I'm working on is one of the best ones. Worst thing is that for us that know English this is the best paid work that we can find and the company I'm working on is one of the best ones.

It is just so frustrating to still be taking calls when all the supervisors and higher places on the company are going home or left already
