Potential employer is worried my family will get in the way

I recently got laid off from an ok job. I’ve been applying to everything within my skill set, just to make ends meet. So, yesterday I spoke with a potential employer over the phone for approximately 20 minutes. He decided we should meet in person. It seemed like a decent job, and something I could see myself doing. The first half of the 20-30 minute interview was pretty typical. Until the second half. It was basically just questioning me about “who stays home with your kids when they’re sick”. “Who has to take your kids to school, and who picks them up? Because we need you here to work when it’s time to work.” I ended the interview then and there. Obviously this company cares more about their profits than their people. I need the money, but I love my kids and they’re my world, not an obstacle to hurdle…

Obviously this company cares more about their profits than their people. I need the money, but I love my kids and they’re my world, not an obstacle to hurdle for a “career”
