Don't tell my assistant manager that it would be her fault for getting shot during a robbery because she probably did something stupid.
Her loyalty and my clerk's loyalty belongs to me as the store manager and not the company. Miss district manager is going to find out real quick that her district numbers aren't bad because of her team below her but her lack of caring and micromanagement. Overworked store managers, upset that we closed the store as a precaution due to the wildfire evacuation order across the street, no follow up to my Worker's Comp injury except for my Chain of Custody, the stupidity goes on. She says she had done the DM job for 10 years but we know that is a lie.
Corporate visits next week. As a store, we don't care and are all going to walk at once. Have fun with that DM. Have another store without enough staff to stay open.
Will miss my customers though.
