Previous company has not paid unused PTO, help?

As the title says my previous company has not paid my unused PTO after termination – which was for underperforming metrics not anything like… I cussed a customer out or anything. I was let go at the beginning of April and I'm losing patience. I sent a demand letter on Monday 5/9 via email to my previous manager. In it I asked for the (large global) company to pay me, along with sending me the policy for unused PTO after termination. My previous manager said he'd contact who he needs to and then I never heard back from him or anyone else. The state (TX) I live in does not require employers to pay unused PTO but they do require companies to follow their policies. Now, I have no access to the policies because they were all digital during my 4 years of employment. In my email, I asked them to send me the policy and forward/CC me to the HR rep, which I do not have the email/phone number for.

Pretty simple requests, along with paying me (the final hours worked payment came just fine). During the termination I was informed the unused PTO would be sent via check. Again, it's been over a month and I just want to get paid.

What resources should I be looking into to speed this up? Department of Labor? My state's workforce folks? A lawyer? I just want to be done dealing with this company.

Thanks in advance.
