Probably looking for excuses to fire me

So this is going to be a bit of a long one and on mobile. I started working at a company this summer. Been going alright. I was given a somewhat internal promotion quickly after being hired cause I interviewed for higher positions that I wasn’t quite qualified for but they seemed to like me. The new position had some minor issues specifically with workload being stretched thin. Despite being added to the new position, I wasn’t able to start with it due to a number of factors. So I wasn’t looking into the pay raise and things until I got into the actual work. I was however added to the communication systems of the new position. In there, I saw some of the issues with workload. Seeing these issues, I asked some of my bosses about benefits, incentives, etc. This was pushed off and I was told to talk…

This was pushed off and I was told to talk to those who added me. I sat down and talked with one of the bosses of a different area to get an idea of how the program was running over there. In this meeting, I received a good amount of concerns and what would turn out to be misinformation. When I then went to the one running the new program, I brought up the issues and information I had been given with the comment of my hesitancy to attach myself to something with these issues. They cleared up the misinformation and let me know that there was a directive for my boss (and others) to have given out much of this information WEEKS prior, before they had pushed me to talk to others since they had no information for me.
Following this meeting, I was written up for “defaming the company/program” and “improper communication”. They (my boss) said that going to the boss of the other area for information was improper and my comments about attaching myself were enough to be considered defaming the company.
During this write up there was a HR rep in the meeting. I asked very direct questions about the company’s write up policy such as “how long is it in my file” “are there steps to take it out and rectify the situation” “will I be able to add a note to it from my perspective”. They said they didn’t have the answers to give me at the time so I refused to sign.
This was weeks ago. Since then I have emailed all parties involved. Apologized to the program runner if my comments were taken in such a way and I will work on picking my words better. They were very gracious about my apology and seemed to still like to work with me. My boss didn’t respond for over a week to my requests for a copy of my write up and the response was that I’m not allowed to have it, only excerpts. I went to HR to follow up about the questions I had in the meeting and ask for a copy. They said they would get back to me next week and did not send a copy.
I have discussed this with f&f to see if they have advice. We all pretty much agree I gotta get ready to be fired since they are looking for a reason at this point. I am halfway thinking this wasn’t actually a write up in my file and just a flex by my boss that blew up when I started asking questions. One, who works in HR, even thinks the delay from HR is so they can discuss with legal. Which I agree is likely. All agree it’s standard practice to provide a copy of the write up during the meeting and it’s odd they didn’t.

Being vague rn as the situation develops. Hoping this gets set right soon.

Any advice/ideas?

EDIT- already updated resume and bookmarked some stuff on Indeed
