I'm a long time lurker who is currently free lancing tech repair and working in a smoke shop. My bosses (the current owners) are known for not being pricks and have gotten in trouble for employee harassment multiple times.
Anyway our current manager has left and they are replacing them with me. The first text I got was them shit talking the past manager and threatening to make my job a living hell if I “get on their bad side”.
I was looking forward to a manager spot but not sure what I should do.
They have also started paying straight time under the table for anything past 40 hours, as well as recently threatened to fire multiple employees for speaking about wages.
