Not sure if this is the best sub to post this on but….
I work in a sales manager role and was told at the beginning of this month if I hit a certain number that I would receive a promotion (10k raise, title change etc.)
I hit the exact numbers that were outlined to me and today my boss said 'great I'll put in for the promotion to take effect in February'. Afterwards, she video called me and said my promotion was denied based off additional criteria her boss was looking for. Not once during the month was this criteria ever brought to my attention.
Unfortunately I do not have the original criteria in writing, but, do i have ANY recourse??
