PSA: Always remember to save your emails and have everything in writing!

My boss just told me that we can go ahead and let our client know that we can schedule a her despite being out-of-state regardless of her decision with accepting a larger project. She decided to refuse because it was too expensive, and when I let him know after promising her that we can still go out and service her, he told me that we were not supposed to schedule anyone outside our “zone,” essentially being my fault. I referred to him to his previous email because of his approval and immediately his excuses came rolling in and I was let off the hook…
