Justfound out that the agency I work for is posting exclusively to hire licensed mental health professionals without considering pre-licensed staff, which means that when my grant funding is up at the end of March I'm out of a job.
It also means, because this job pays shit compared to private mental health positions, that once I lose my job my co-worker is probably going to be the one and only employee of this program.
But it's totally okay tho, actually, because as they've been telling us ever since I got hired, back before this program shrank from 5 to 4 to 2 providers, back before we lost our program manager and ended up without a boss, back before they cut our funding and left us with 2 providers and 1 part-time care coordinator, the board is Dedicated to Behavioral Health!
