Question about vacation time

In California the law says If you quit or resigned and provided at least 72 hours of notice, you are entitled to an immediate payment of vacation days. I am leaving my job, gave them 2 weeks notice. I have over 56 hours of vacation time. Does this mean that on my last day they should have a check ready for me? Or will they just pay me out with my final check?
