My job was becoming unbearable. My boss had hired his brother-in-law who didn't like me at all. BIL was just a bit of an idiot too. He took so long to do projects. He was a 'perfectionist'. He was the guy they wrote 'don't let perfect be the enemy of good' for. Anyway, I gave my two week notice and things began to ramp up even more. I quit after a week. My boss didn't feel he had to give me my last week's vacation pay. The State's Attorney General's office thought otherwise and let him know it. I got my check a week or so later.
