Two weeks ago I (21f) quit my retail job after really shitty managers and coworkers made the place hell. Especially for only $11.25 an hour. I applied for a librarian position – my dream career (in a way. I don’t really have any aspirations so it’s more like my dad’s dream for me.)
I though the interview went really well, but they just contacted me and told me they filled the position. Now I don’t know what to do. I can’t go back to retail, its soul crushing. But what do I do? I can’t mooch off my parents forever.
I’m barely a student, I only take two classes a semester because I can’t focus enough to take any more than that. I’m so lost.
Edit: not librarian position. Customer assistance at the local library. Should have clarified that.
