Hi fellow anti workers! I’m planning on accepting a new job offer tomorrow 🙁 and quitting my current role.
The thing is… I had a 2 week honeymoon trip planned using PTO at my current job starting in two weeks through the new year. This means, if I put in notice after my return, I wouldn’t be able to start my new role until mid-January (something my new employer isn’t too fond of).
What do you all think of putting in my notice next week (my final week before PTO) and then working an additional week post-PTO? This is technically a 4 week notice situation but half the time is spent on leave.
What would you do in this situation? I don’t want to burn bridges here but I’m ready to move on.
