Selling the house, and quitting my detested, life draining and time stealing job. At last, with the deed done, I am feeling happy again! Will have about 140k oz dollars and zero debt. Can stay at parents, they already offered, they're renting having lost their house when 17% rates killed their dream. So not streetsailing just yet, though that doesnt worry me as I am a bit weird. Genuine question, what would you do? I'm just done with it all and dont want to participate anymore. Single. 53 and healthy. I am not afraid of anything. But i am aware the worlds financial system is dodgy at best. I believe we are rearranging the deck chairs before a fiat currency collapse. This is NOT the reason I'm lifechanging. I'm just not prepared to slave away anymore just to die, not having done, well, anything except save for a coffin. Seriously, what would you do, especially in regards to inflation? 140k a lot, more than ive ever had or likely to ever have, but it shrinks daily. I only ask because the house sold very quickly. Very quickly, and caught me by surprise. I think I want to camp, stargaze, poke flames, walk and simply watch. Drink from rivers (which you can still do in australia lol) and sleep on the beach. Scribble notes and feel the seasons turn. How can my money fund this? I am not finacially savvy at all. Ps, i have cat, rescued from the landfill she was thrown into as a kitten. I would gladly spend the 140k on her, should she need it.
