I’m nearly 26 years old , I’ve worked for a fair share of companies in different spheres of work throughout my life. Never , have I ever. Needed 40 hours a week to complete my tasks or even do more than required. This statement being heavily exaggerated in my current position. I work literally maybe maximum of two hours a day , on the days I work three I’m able to complete most of my tasks for the next day. Not to mention everything I do can be done from home. When I asked for a WFH option I was told the employer needs to see that you’re working. Boss man you’ll see it by the results like holy fuck. Why do employers want to spend extra money on an office space and horny with the idea of an employee wasting 40 hours a week in an office when they can be saving that money and investing it back into the business. Someone explain.
