Re: I was just fired for discussing pay

Since the original post an agent from the NLRB confronted the company on my behalf with the charges and they offered to settle. How much do I ask? They already owe me around $1300 in fees and backpay but the agent stressed I could ask for more on top of that, anything, but that he couldn’t advise me on what to choose. Seemed like a clear hint but I have no reference for this stuff. What would be an appropriate ask? Edit: I don’t remember the exact wording but the charges are for violation of a protected activity and interrogation. I think they tacked on retaliation as well but he never really confirmed it so much as brought up the possibility.
