So I've been working on a special project for the last month. Having to travel double the distance to the facility in order to do so. Let me preface. I am diagnosed with BP1 and am being medicated. Some days, I am not able to go in. I made my manager aware that this is my predicament, and he is understanding. My supervisor, however, takes shots at me when I am and have been one of the most versatile in the department.
He implied today that I am never in the office. I replied even if that was the truth. I do my job, don't work half the day, and sit on my phone like others in the group, and I'm cross trained and can do basically everything. This was met with a “Blah Blah Blah.”
To say this was infuriating is an understatement. I'm done at this point….I can't quit yet, but when I can, I'm not even gonna say shit. For him to insinuate that I'm less of a contributor or he doesn't honor my work because I'm not in the office is a joke.
