Hi antiwork, I’m not sure if this is the right sub, but I think you guys will have good wisdom. This week I had my year-end performance evaluation, and I was rated “off track”. This came as a complete surprise to me. There wasn’t any time where my manager met with me and explained my performance was failing. I looked at my mid-year review and I kept a log of all the times I did the things she told me I could improve upon. I explained these in my year-end review. She seemed to brush them off. I have a month period where I can prove that I am not off track and if not I go into this remediation plan. And after that May be termination. What are some steps I can take to document everything? Should I go to my director (managers boss) and explain why I think this rating is undeserved? Thank you for your help.
