I am going through something unimaginably hard and I need outside help. I was harassed terribly at this job. I worked at Kroger stocking shelves in the middle of the night. Every night I worked there my house would get broken into. Someone (my bosses) were coordinating with my stalker as to when to time the break ins. Then, he pretended to not know how to input my time in the system to make sure I couldn't pay rent and was too homeless to fight back. Yeah it's really that bad. So of course I have resorted to recording all my interactions with them of course, to protect myself and had a meeting with the main store manager. He said, “After your grievance we decided to bring you back so what's the problem? I told him I was petrified of working there ever again. Which is true. I just wanted to protect myself by recording our meeting and he said per the book “Fresh for everyone” page 26, I was not allowed to record anything. I got the fuck out of there fast.
Is this true? I can't protect myself this way? I live in KY
