Recruited by a company in the other side of of the country

Not in the USA. They were recruiting people in my hometown. I went to the interview and they liked my profile. after 3 weeks of no contact they sent me a message telling me that I have been selected and told me to go to their installations, they said that accommodations were included. I took two buses to get there, took me like a whole day. When I was there nobody knew about me there wasn't anybody waiting for me to get me to the place where everyone was supposed to be staying.

A dude told me that he was about to help me and took me to the place where employees were staying, but the guard said that nobody told him about me and he couldn't let me in so I had to look for a place where to stay

It was getting dark and I was looking for a place having limited bucket. The only place that I could afford was one that was recommended by one of the crew members but when I went to that place nobody knew what I was talking about so I decided to take a bus back to my hometown.

If they were about to make it difficult for a person from another town to stay there because they are so exclusive that they cannot let an employee to stay after they already told me to pack my stuff and leave my place, why do they look for people outside their town.

Like I couldn't get to the bus to my hometown on time, I had to stay in a small hotel for a night in a cheaper town. relaxed a little bit and I'm ready to go back.
I think that I was so stupid, how could I just trust this m************ I didn't even paid attention to the red flags, like taking too long to tell me that I have been accepted, I never spoke with the same person every time I called and every time I send a message they took like 3 days to answer me. I don't think was a scamm but it seems that they don't f****** care for their employees even since the first time.

When I heard that a hotel was looking for people in my hometown I thought that there was about to be like an specific day that everyone was supposed to meet in the bus station and everyone will go in the same bus to their installations or that at least you get me some sort of ID so I can present that to the personnel when I went there so they will know instantly that I am a new girl and that they should let me in.

Another thing too is that all the personnel were like mad tired and pissed off. I think that could be an indication of toxic working environment.

Now I am thinking I dodged a bullet.
