Many Chinese companies endorse the infamous “996” work schedule, that is they want employees to work 9AM to 9PM six days a week. A recruiter has approached me to work for one of these companies. I am thinking about asking for $300K a year, plus full benefits package. I want them to know that I am on to their 996 bullshit and consider it as ludicrous as they will consider my salary request.
