Ok, so following on from my post about my hours being reduced I've now been fired this morning their reasoning was “a changing culture at the company, we just don't have the hours to give you” despite hiring 2 more people this week yet there's a shortage of hours? Not just me either, 2 more people were let go today, conveniently we all just completed 6 months on the dot, maybe that has something to do with it? 🤔 Ah well.
The contract I signed when I first started was for 30hrs a week but the hours were “proposed” and at no point in time was I ever obligated to receive that amount of hours, according to them the 30hrs per week was what I agreed to work up to should they have it available, which they did up until about 3 weeks ago when I was down to doing 15 on average the past 4 days I've had a grand total of 6.
Maybe they reshuffle staff every 6 months? I did notice when I first started we were all new
