Here in the south, the heat is infamous as we all know. I work in an automotive shop we work on tractors and just about anything with wheels. We work both outside and inside of this tin can of a shop. I asked during our meeting if management could have the decency of supplying cold water bottles for the shop. We can have them in a cooler accessible for us technicians. Or even a water fountain. My boss replied with a “that’s actually an OSHA violation and that’s why we can’t do that. I know, it’s crazy right? haha”.
