I work in health tech and am currently fully remote (since before COVID.) My job is starting to suck for mainly political reasons, and I see the company changing in ways that I do not support, so I am starting to job hunt.
Because my work can be done remotely, and I am a very successful remote worker, that is obviously what I prefer. A hybrid environment would be acceptable, or even the type of place where I need to go in one week every quarter for training or whatever.
In my job hunt however, I have noticed that there are almost no remote jobs being posted. There are some that are hybrid, but those are very few. I really miss the days of the pandemic when companies understood that work that it is 100% done on the computer can almost always be successfully done in your remote fashion.
