A friend of mine got job offer from different continent as remote backend developer.
Am shocked to see how much employer is abusing him.
*Installed a tracking software on his personal device
*contract defines 10-6 work, but he is required to be online almost 18hrs a day
*no lunch breaks
*no medical, dental or any kind of coverage
*abusive and racist conversions in emails and IMs
Shitiest boss ever. Since he is in Germany, no law is applied from Pakistan on him.
I think its a new norms where employers hiers remote low cost workers and milk them to hell.
There should be some regulations on this.
