Reparations for the working poor/lower middle class?

If it's true that if the minimum wage had kept up with worker productivity since 1960, it would be $24.5 today, not $7, then doesn't that represent about $50 trillion in stolen labor? Isn't this the exact (literally the exact same) conversation around reparations for African Americans? I think the latter conversation has always made sense, so maybe we should also be having the former?

Isn't this the exact (literally the exact same) conversation around reparations for African Americans? I think the latter conversation has always made sense, so maybe we should also be having the former?
