Reporting My Company for Illegal Practices

Hi Everybody, I’m a long time lurker whose gonna be quitting a small SaaS company soon (read as: CEO doesn’t wanna hire more people and wants to keep as much money to himself as possible) Without getting into what I actually do for my job, my company has done the following things that I know or think is illegal: -Makes everybody sign an NDA that has a “don’t discuss your wages, if you do we’ll fire you” clause. I plan to report this. -Reaches out to clients and begs them for BBB (Better Business Bureau) reviews. Hi Everybody,

I’m a long time lurker whose gonna be quitting a small SaaS company soon (read as: CEO doesn’t wanna hire more people and wants to keep as much money to himself as possible)

Without getting into what I actually do for my job, my company has done the following things that I know or think is illegal:

-Makes everybody sign an NDA that has a “don’t discuss your wages, if you do we’ll fire you” clause. I plan to report this.

-Reaches out to clients and begs them for BBB (Better Business Bureau) reviews. In exchange for a 5 star review, we will give that company a 5 star review on Google/whatever they want and/or additional products for our SaaS. The companies do not state in their BBB reviews what we are giving them in exchange for these reviews. We do not give them anything if they give us a 4 star review or lower.

-We pressure people into buying our product because “here are a bunch of things they we are willing to sponsor for you if you sign up for our product. Hurry up though, these sponsorships are provided to us by an outside company and are limited.” This outside company doesn’t exist. The sponsorships don’t exist (as we make the money back from our monthly invoices). The sponsorships aren’t limited. It is all sales tactics to create urgency to get people to sign their name on a 2 year contract.

-We develop and sell apps at an outrageous price. $5k for an AppleTV app. $5k for an Android mobile app. Etc. But we aren’t building them apps from scratch, we are just reusing templates, changing 20-50 lines of code and then publishing the apps. I bet some of these clients are filling these $5k apps as company assets or something, where they’re clearly not worth $5k. Does anyone think the IRS or someone else would be interested in knowing this information? I would love to get the IRS on them, I truly would.

I have a few other things, but it’s 5am here and my noggin ain’t working.

Am I able to report any of these things? I would like to report all of it anonymously, if not I will not report it. Can anybody give me guidance here?
