I’m a long-time r/antiwork member, and share the same frustrations as you guys in regards to deteriorating socioeconomic condition of the United States. Unfortunately, our growingly obsolete Constitution is simply incapable of handling issues like corporate lobbying, the electoral college, and gun control. Like you, I’m sick of complaining and nothing actually getting done. That’s why I’m aiming for a realistic, material goal of ratifying a new Constitution by starting a liberal movement among the general public and someday make it the biggest talking point in our elections. The subreddit is in it’s very early days, but I hope it can become a discussion place for the kinds of values that should inform the new constitution, and the starting place for the next democratic revolution, and ACTUAL change.
