About a week ago I told my boss I was leaving. She was okay with it mostly. Did tell me that coming to her with my problems first would have been preferred, and that it wasn't fair to make a one sided decision like that. We decided i would stay through labor day. She now says she needs my resignation with my last day in writing. Why is this? Ill totally do it, im just curious on why its a thing.
