We use an app at work where we can track our schedules and see any changes. Thing is, the app never notifies me and I occasionally go and check if there have been any changes. Twice or thrice now, there has been shifts extended or added to my schedule without prior notice. I gently told my boss to please just give a heads up before making major changes (I’m a full time student) and he hasn’t. Is this an ok and normal thing to do at work? I’m young and haven’t had much working experience prior.
