I started a new job last August, it was remote work at the time due to Covid. It's now moving back into the office in the next 2 weeks, but I don't really need to be in the office to do my job. Due to the nature of the company I work with team members in other countries anyway.
How do I argue to my manager to either pay me an extra hour a day for my commute, or convince them to let me remain remote? I hate the job anyway, and would gladly look for something else, I don't really care for it as a career if it comes to threatening to leave.
