Let's keep it sweet and simple:
I was an at-will employee. I went on a medical leave (notes and dates to cover what I personally took off) and then a return to work date about a month later. Work was supportive.
I returned to work & my direct manager was having an issue with everything I was doing. They then wanted me to record everything I was doing. I did- covered myself, did my work well. 2 weeks exactly for a paycheck they had me come in and fired me, no other warning, talk, or insight. Boss literally said “it's not cool…”
Was this legal? ty
