So, I got laid off from The Carrot Company and in the separation agreement, they have a seven day revocation clause if you are over 40.
How is that even legal? Wouldn’t it be age discrimination?
Also, they now expect the independent contractors- the full service shoppers- to do my job WITHOUT BEING TRAINED.
Yeah, I was having to train a pair today on how to do the job. They didn’t know how to bag the groceries appropriately nor how to stage them. (I took a job as a checker for the store I was working at because I am too lazy to go back to the corporate world.)
