I have been running a fever for the past 2 days with no signs of getting better. Last time I was sick I left early due to puking and was berated for it- now I'm so scared to call in because I know they will reprimand me without a doctor's note. I don't have insurance (big surprise my job doesn't offer it until I've worked a full year), and I live in a state where a checkup is just unfeasible without it. I'm not sure what to do, it's the highest paying job I can obtain in this area.
