This boggles my mind. This is also a problem of our current economy, salary imbalance and inequality.
Not everybody is born equal. How can doctors easily make six figures while janitors are rarely able to get livable wage? This is bullshit.
Janitors are as important; they keep places clean which reduces the possibility of being inflected with a disease. They were a key in fighting COVID.
Same with waiters who serve people, caretakers…etc
We have to work together to fight this and make sure that jobs like these are not ignored and deserve to be paid as much if not more.
