Most of the Indian IT companies have a toxic work culture but our company (NGI Ap_xIT) takes the cake.
Last week I got an email saying that I will lose 2.5 days of salary this month because there was an issue in the system and it didn't calculate sandwich leaves properly.
The system is showing that I have 6 days of leaves remaining, but these guys calculated “sandwich” leaves from January to November and told us now that we have this policy.
This is so fucked up. They should fix the system and apply this policy from next year if they want.
Scenarios of sandwich leaves are also completely wrong.
If I am working on Friday, Monday is a Public Holiday, and I take leave on Tuesday then 4 leaves will be deducted : Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue.
I don't know what to say to these guys.
