So I used to work for a retail branch of Verizon and honestly it wasn’t all that bad, however the predatory hire and fire mentality was very exhausting. First of the the range isn’t accurate at all. Things could have changed since I was there, but “draw” pay was changing all the time. Draw is what you would get paid up front, but you were expected to make at least that Draw rate in your hourly commissions. So essentially, this job is 100% commission. Why is that not stated anywhere? Instead the dangle 27 usd per hour minimum pay range in your face when most of the employees struggled to make 15 usd per hour.
Thankfully I do not work for anyone but myself now and don’t have to tolerate to toxic turnover of traditional sales jobs.
Anyways that’s my rant for today
