Resignation notice to my previous employer based on multiple prior conversations with him and everything he had said to me at some point during my tenure:
Starts here:
Why you don’t deserve a resignation notice:
“Actually (NAME) I can do anything I want. I don’t even need to explain my actions to you. So what are you going to do about it? I’m not going to be pushed around or told now to behave.”
I’m not required to give you notice, just like you weren’t “required” to pay me a bonus for “defiant attitude or bad behavior.” “In a perfect world,” you’d get a notice, so you’d better get used to people telling you “no.”
I don’t care how much you’ve done to help me or other employees. I hooked you up with thousands of dollars worth of free office equipment and you never once thanked me.
I’ve been “quite patient” and “overly accommodating” of your poor attitude and disposition and I’m tired of it. I’m done with you.
You need to realize your words and actions hurt people—especially employees and your wife—and have consequences, a life lesson you should’ve learned 40 years ago.
Treating employees this way is abhorrent and unacceptable in any business.
This is ME telling YOU how things are going to go. “You’re either on my side or you’re in my way.” Now, you’re out of my way.
Inside is my official resignation letter. You did this to yourself.
P.S. “I don’t need to deal with this shit.” I hope this humbles you, but I know you’re ego’s bigger Trump’s so I know it won’t.
