Imagine buying a grocery store in a neighborhood and then charging people in that area a subscription, let's say $50/month just to shop there. Are you providing food to the people, or are you in the way and grossly profiting off the hungry?
Landlords should be illegal or have more protections, regulations, etc etc in place. There's no reason for them just like with capitalists owning the means of production. We can buy our own homes without rich fucks HOARDING shelter. We can work our own jobs without rich fucks LABORING us for them.
