I've been working at a new clinic that hasn't seen patients in 5 months. I applied to jobs with insurance at the 3 month mark since I am uninsured. When I asked boss lady about insurance she gaslighted me and said she definitely gave us the sheets for United health care. Nope. She has me going to her other clinic once a week for “training”. 36 miles away ~ 40min drive. That's around $200 extra a week with 25¢ to the mile. I spent $100 on gas when I worked there a week straight. I live 5 minutes from the clinic I applied for. She laughed at me and said “I already pay you” when I brought up a milleage sheet and extra pay for gas. Since we haven't been seeing patients, she thinks that since I don't DO anything, I'm not worth paying for gas money when she requires I go to her other clinic. Because logically I don't have bills if I don't attend to patients since she hasn't hired a provider for the new clinic which she pays monthly lease on. Today at the 5 towns over clinic I was told not to use the restroom because a 12 y/o with herpes had just used the only bathroom. I held my pee for 4 hours and she wants me to come twice a week, now. The second day on a short day (4hrs). So I don't even make 40 hrs a week. I told her no, it's a short day, I'll just keep coming on Monday. She said, “idk what you're going to do, then”. I need words of encouragement because I would love to work at just one place for once in my life and I'm a pushover. Last year I filed 6 W-2s. I'm a hard worker, management always fucks me in the ass dry. I've been waiting a month to hear back from a well paying factory job. I can pass 99% drug tests. Should I just apply to literally any job? Can I sell my toe pics online? I'm about to be drunk for 4 days straight trying to muster the courage to not show up Friday. Words of encouragement?
