I just got laid off. I work remote so i should be getting a laptop box and a severance agreement form.
Company was actually pretty good, paid well, good managers, etc. It's a small startup and they are starting to run low on cash so it is what it is. No real hard feelings.
What can and can't they ask for in an agreement?
What can they ask for but is non-enforceable?
What can they ask for that would make it unpalatable to sign?
What is boilerplate that doesnt matter?
Also how large does a company have to be for it to be an official layoff and require X amount of time warning?
Edit
Also i have an FSA card with like almost 2000$ on it. What should I spend it on and where?
