A fee years ago I was talking to the greeter at Sam's. Really cool older guy who had stories for days. Each time I'd go in, he always had a tale to tell.
One day he told me that earlier that day a woman nearly collapsed walking in and he quickly went to the the nearest employee with a cell (this guy was zero technology, he still had a land line, am radio and antenna television and was content) to call 911.
The manager overheard and stopped them saying that if they call, they would have to pay the ambulance bill… This always rubbed me wrong. For one, who gives a shit. It's not your money, it's the money of a huge corporation. Secondly (and this just might be my negative outlook on brown nosers) I feel the only reason this dweeb would of said “dont” was to bring it up later at some meeting saying he saved them money.
He told the greeter to go calm her down and try to get her to call 911 or another customer. I think he said the lady handed him her phone (I think she was having a panic attack maybe hard for her to talk) and she was taken to the hospital.
This Jabroni, chanced this women's life to save corporate li,e what $500… What if she died and they found out he declined to call. That would of been a huge payday for her family.
Just thinking of that makes me sick to this day
