Should I be mad about my wife’s work schedule?

My wife has worked retail jobs ever since she got out of the Navy. The last two that she's worked at have required her to work weekends regularly. Before she went and talked to her boss, they were only giving her one Sunday off every month. My job only gives me weekends off. There is no option to work on a Saturday or Sunday to get a weekday off so as a result the only time we get to spend a whole day together is on that one day a month (unless one of us burns a vacation day). Her store has been winning companywide awards for selling so I thought it was a good time for her to ask her boss to see if she could possibly get every other Sunday off. Since my wife is an assistant manager to one of the departments that's been doing the best out of the whole store, it seem like maybe her boss would be willing to work with her on this. Her boss pushed back, but then finally said she could have a whole weekend off once a month. I feel like this isn't going to make things better, because I still have to wait three weeks before we actually get to spend any time together. Meanwhile, I have to watch our two young children by myself both days. Should I be angry about this?
